The Vision

Life, so far as we know, does not exist singularly.  On Earth, the existence of life is symbiotic, it depends on complex eco-systems.  Micro and Macro organisms work together, assembling, disassembling, reassembling the raw elements born of stars, into the building blocks of life.  

Imagine that we live on an interstellar spacecraft craft.  There are no resupply runs back to Earth.  Other than what we bring, little to no additional water, no landfills, no oil wells, no coal mines…  For the most part, we must make do with what we have, nothing will be wasted.  While chemistry will play a huge role, there is already so much that the Earth has taught us.  How to recycle waste, how to harness energy in the form of combustible gasses from the various stages of the recycling process, how to clean our water, and oh yeah, how to produce air to breath and food to eat.  This is the ultimate in sustainability, we believe that we are already on that interstellar ship.  By designing and building systems meant to support life in space, we design and build sustainable systems here on earth.  Plastics for example, are something that we have grown completely and unnecessarily dependent upon.  While there is no doubt about the benefits of plastic, our overuse is now not only polluting our planet, but our bodies as well.  At Final Frontier Farms, where possible, we will use metal, wood, and ceramic.

Farming in space will be crucial for not only food, but for waste processing, energy production, material production, and personal hygiene.

At $10,000 per pound to launch supplies, and if we are going to be serious about space exploration, one of the first things that should be built, is a farm.

Where we begin

 Located in the Del Luz area of Temecula, California, nestled in gently rolling hills, you’ll find our small family farm.  At the moment, we are growing Avocados, and raising Bees.  This is where we begin with our product offerings.  Lip balms, soaps, lotions, etc., all crafted from avocado oil, beeswax, and honey.  And when the avocados are in season, you will be able to purchase our carefully selected premium fruit, straight from the farm!
